Abia Commissioner for Transport Inspects Newly Arrived Electric Buses, Reaffirms Commitment to Modern Transit
Abia State has taken another significant step towards transforming its public transportation system as the Commissioner for Transport, Dr. Chimezie Isaac Ukaegbu, inspected the newly arrived second batch of electric buses introduced by the administration of Governor Dr. Alex Otti.
The inspection highlights the state government’s continued commitment to providing a modern, affordable, efficient, and environmentally friendly transport system for residents. The latest delivery of electric buses represents another milestone in the ongoing transportation reform aimed at improving mobility across Abia.
Speaking during the inspection, Dr. Ukaegbu reaffirmed that the Governor Alex Otti-led administration remains focused on making public transportation safer, more convenient, and cost-effective for commuters.
