The All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially announced the composition of its National Assembly Primary Election Committees and Primary Election Appeal Committees ahead of the 2027 general elections.
In a press statement issued in Abuja on May 15, 2026, the ruling party disclosed the names of members appointed to oversee the conduct of the National Assembly primary elections across various states of the federation.
According to the statement, the committees are expected to ensure a transparent, credible, and peaceful primary election process as the party prepares for the upcoming polls. The APC leadership also called on party faithful, aspirants, and stakeholders to maintain order and uphold fairness throughout the exercise.
The released list contains chairmen, members, and secretaries assigned to both the Primary Election Committees and Appeal Committees for different states, including Abia, Adamawa, Akwa Ibom, Anambra, Bauchi, Benue, Borno, Delta, Edo, Enugu, Imo, Kano, Kaduna, Kogi, Lagos, Niger, Ogun, Ondo, Oyo, Plateau, Rivers, and others.
The party emphasized that the committees will play a vital role in ensuring that the primaries are conducted in line with APC guidelines and democratic principles.
The statement was signed by the National Publicity Secretary of the APC, Felix Morka, CON, who reaffirmed the party’s commitment to internal democracy and peaceful participation by all members during the exercise.
