The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has officially restored its recruitment portal after weeks of downtime, bringing relief to thousands of applicants awaiting updates on the next phase of the exercise.
The portal, which had previously gone offline unexpectedly, is now accessible again, allowing candidates to check their status for physical screening and document verification. This development confirms that the recruitment process is set to resume soon.
Earlier, the board had announced December 1, 2025, as the date for reopening the platform to enable shortlisted candidates to proceed with screening. However, the sudden shutdown delayed the process and left many applicants uncertain about their next steps.
With the system now back online, candidates are advised to revisit the official recruitment portal and stay updated on their screening eligibility. The reopening indicates that CDCFIB is preparing to continue the recruitment exercise, including physical screening and documentation checks.
