A chieftain of the Turaki-led faction of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Umar Sani, has challenged the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, to demolish their faction’s office located in Area 10, Abuja, amid the lingering leadership crisis rocking the opposition party.
Speaking during a political discussion, Sani declared that the Turaki-led camp remains fully operational and unshaken despite the growing tensions within the PDP. According to him, the faction maintains a functioning office in Abuja, which Wike is fully aware of.
“We have an office that we are running, and it is in Area 10, Abuja. Wike knows the office, let him come and demolish it,” Sani stated.
The PDP chieftain also accused the Wike-led faction of allegedly commercializing the party’s nomination process by selling nomination forms for cash. He claimed that if the transactions are being conducted through official PDP bank accounts, the financial records would ultimately reveal those involved.
Sani further alleged that the faction loyal to Senator Wadada currently has custody of the PDP cooperation documents, insisting that the Wike-aligned camp does not control the party’s foundational records.

The fresh allegations have further highlighted the deepening divisions within the PDP as rival camps continue to battle for influence ahead of future political activities and internal party arrangements.
