The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has extended the deadline for candidates with outstanding admission offers from 2021 to date to either accept or reject their admissions.
The new deadline has been fixed for Wednesday, September 30, 2026, replacing the earlier deadline of Monday, August 31, 2026.
According to the Board, the extension is intended to provide affected candidates with one final opportunity to make a decision regarding their pending admission offers.
JAMB urged all candidates whose admission offers are still awaiting acceptance or rejection to immediately log into their respective profiles and take the necessary action before the expiration of the new deadline.
The directive applies to candidates with pending admissions under both regular admission processes and CUIIA admissions.
Candidates are expected to carefully review their admission status and indicate whether they wish to accept or reject the offers within the stipulated period.
JAMB stressed the importance of acting before the September 30 deadline, as the extension is designed to give affected candidates a final opportunity to resolve all outstanding admission decisions.

Candidates with pending admission offers are therefore advised not to wait until the last minute but to visit their JAMB profiles and complete the acceptance or rejection process before the deadline expires.
