Abia Labour Party Opens Registration Portal for Support Groups Ahead of 2027 General Elections

The Abia State chapter of the Labour Party (LP) has officially launched a dedicated online registration portal for support groups, political structures, and affiliated organizations as part of its preparations for the 2027 General Elections.

According to a statement issued by the party, the registration exercise is designed to identify, harmonize, and formally recognize support groups that will serve as strategic partners in the Labour Party’s 2027 electoral campaign across Abia State.

The initiative is expected to strengthen collaboration, improve coordination, and create a unified structure for organizations working in support of the party’s vision and activities ahead of the elections.

Registration Process

Interested support groups and affiliated organizations are required to complete the registration through the party’s official website.

Applicants should:
Visit www.labourpartyabia.com.ng
Scroll to the “JOIN THE ALLIANCE – REGISTER TODAY” section on the homepage.
Complete all required fields in the online registration form.

Submit the application by clicking the “REGISTER” button.

Await a confirmation notification, which will be sent to the registered email address and phone number via SMS.

Successful applicants are expected to print the confirmation notification and present it during the physical verification exercise at the Labour Party State Secretariat. The date for the verification exercise will be announced by the party.

Registration Timeline
The registration exercise will run for two weeks, beginning on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, and ending on Wednesday, July 29, 2026.

The Abia State Labour Party urged all genuine support groups, political structures, and affiliated organizations interested in working with the party to complete the registration within the stipulated period to gain official recognition.
