It is now clear, and beyond any doubts that Chinedum passionately hates the progress of the great Ndi Ikwuano-Umuahia, to the extent that he can not even stomach any idea of advancement for this dynamic and noble Federal Constituency. Rather, he will employ minons to disparage unassailable strides achieved for the Federal Constitutiency – something, his abysmal father, Senator T. A. Orji could not achieve in all his eight years in office at the National Assembly.
This is coming off the back of overwhelming and monumental failures of 16 years at the helm of affairs of Abia State, with no institutional progress emanating from the Orji family dynasty towards our collective wellbeing, except for their EFCC certificate of thieving.
Daddy’s boy is miffed that in just 3 years at the Federal House of Representatives, Hon Obi Aguocha has achieved for ndi Ikwuano-Umuahia what he and his family empire could only dream of. We wonder what they think of Abia State now, only if the blind can see.
For the avoidance of doubt, considering that the National Assembly is a reputed institution of records, we state categorically thus:
HB 1605 – Establishment of the Federal Medical Centre [FMC], Ikwuano, Abia State.
Status: Passed by the House of Representatives [28th April 2026]. Copies of the bill, which were duly signed, endorsed and transmitted to the Senate for concurrence [5th May, 2026] and subsequenty passed and concured by the Senate [16th July, 2026], to wit bringing to a closure the bills legislative process; now awaiting Presidential Assent.
Impact: Expands access to healthcare, creates more than 10,000 speciality, skilled and non skilled employment opportunities, stimulates local economic growth, and positions Ikwuano-Umuahia as a world-class, regional healthcare hub and destination in Nigeria.
A few other major institutional impact project bills sponsored by Hon Obi Aguocha in the pipeline:
- HB 1659 – A Bill for the establishment of Nigeria Institute of Mining and Geosciences Umuahia, Abia State.
Status. Report Laid [7th May, 2026], Laid on Table – Awaiting 3rd Reading and Consideration.
Impact: Expands educational opportunities in mining and geosciences. Institutional capacity for more than 8,000 students, including 2,000 academic/non-academic staff faculty. The only other institution of its type in Nigeria is located in Jos, Platue State. - HB 2592 – A Bill for the Creation of Ikwuano North and Ikwuano South Local Government Areas, respectively out of the Current Ikwuano Local Government of Abia State.
- Status: Passed First and Second Readings in the House of Representatives. Awaiting Committee Report and Third Reading.
- Impact: To strengthen grassroots governance, improve administrative efficiency, bring government closer to the people, accelerate infrastructure and social development, and expand opportunities for equitable distribution of public services and resources within the constituency. It will usher in two State House Constituencies and a Federal House Constituency for Ikwuano.
Hon Obi Aguocha is an achiever extraordinaire. He is a legislative colossus that daddy’s boy doesn’t have any iota of capacity to match or attain on a grand national stage. National Assembly no bi ihe “ndi cho cho cho.,” it is for the most accessible, strategic thinkers, astute in thoughts and proficient in English language.
