EFCC declares City Boys Movement women leader Halimat Tejuosho wanted over alleged fraud, urging public assistance in tracking her.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has declared Halimat Adenike Tejuosho wanted in connection with an alleged case of obtaining money under false pretence.
In an official notice shared on Monday via the social platform X, the anti-corruption agency disclosed that Tejuosho, who is associated with the City Boys Movement, is being sought for questioning over the allegations.
The statement, signed by Dele Oyewale, urged members of the public to assist with credible information that could lead to her arrest. The Commission advised anyone with relevant details about her whereabouts to contact any EFCC office across the country.
Additionally, the agency encouraged citizens to report through its official communication channels, including phone lines and email, or to approach the nearest police station or other security agencies.
Tejuosho was recently appointed as the South-West Zonal Women Leader of the City Boys Movement.
According to the group, her role involved providing strategic leadership for women-focused initiatives, as well as coordinating political mobilization, civic engagement, and advocacy efforts within the region.
