Nigerian social media personality VeryDarkMan has stirred fresh controversy after appearing to reconcile with businessman Blord while redirecting his legal battle toward activist Omoyele Sowore.
The unfolding drama comes after Otse previously accused Williams of fraudulent activities, including allegedly impersonating him in advertisements and selling refurbished iPhones as brand-new devices. These allegations led to Williams’ arraignment in early April on charges related to criminal conspiracy and impersonation.
Following his arrest, Williams was granted bail and has now regained his freedom after meeting the bail conditions. In a significant development, the presiding judge, Rita Ofili-Ajumogobia, stepped down from the case, which has since been reassigned. The matter is now scheduled to continue on May 19, adding another layer of anticipation to the legal proceedings.
In a surprising twist, VeryDarkMan was recently seen exchanging a handshake with Blord, suggesting a possible thaw in their previously tense relationship. However, the influencer has shifted his focus toward Sowore, who had publicly backed Williams and celebrated his release on bail.
Tensions escalated further outside the courtroom, where Sowore reportedly had a heated exchange with former Attorney General Abubakar Malami. The confrontation added to the already charged atmosphere surrounding the case, which continues to draw widespread public attention.
