Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara has commissioned the reconstructed 19.79-kilometre Buguma–Degema–Abonnema Road, describing the project as a major infrastructure milestone for communities in the Kalabari Kingdom.
The newly reconstructed road is expected to significantly improve transportation and connectivity across the area, particularly for residents and commuters who previously faced difficulties using the route.
Governor Fubara said the transformation of the road reflects his administration’s commitment to delivering critical infrastructure that improves the quality of life of residents while opening up opportunities for economic growth.
