Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex C. Otti, has congratulated the Member representing Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Obi Aguocha, on the occasion of his birthday.
In a statement issued on September 17, 2026, by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Ukoha Njoku Ukoha, Governor Otti extended the birthday wishes on behalf of his family, the Abia State Government and the people of the state.
The governor described Aguocha as a committed legislator and strong advocate for the interests of his constituents, noting that his dedication to quality representation, community development and progressive ideals complements the administration’s vision for a “New Abia.”
Governor Otti also acknowledged Aguocha’s activities at the National Assembly, highlighting his contributions to democratic development and his support for initiatives focused on advancing the interests of Abia State and strengthening the Labour Party family.
According to the governor, the federal lawmaker has demonstrated people-focused leadership through various interventions and initiatives targeting youth empowerment, cultural development and infrastructure across the Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency.
Otti further described Aguocha as a valuable partner in the ongoing efforts to rebuild and reposition Abia State, while commending his commitment to issues affecting his constituents.
As Aguocha marks another year, Governor Otti prayed for divine blessings, good health, renewed strength and wisdom for the lawmaker as he continues his public service.
He also wished the federal legislator a memorable birthday celebration and many more years of meaningful contributions to his constituency, Abia State and Nigeria.
