The solar streetlight initiative associated with the member representing the constituency, Rt. Hon. Obi Aguocha, is reported to have reached approximately 1,500 installations across different communities.
The intervention is aimed at addressing one of the common challenges faced by residents—poor nighttime visibility—while providing an alternative source of public lighting in areas where access to reliable electricity remains a concern.
