The Labour Party in Abia State has fixed Sunday, November 1, 2026, for the official flag-off of Governor Alex Chioma Otti’s 2027 re-election campaign, alongside campaigns for other Labour Party candidates.
The campaign launch will hold at the Umuahia Township Stadium by 12 noon, bringing the party’s campaign activities into focus ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The announcement was made in an official invitation signed by Pastor Caleb Ajagba, PhD, Chief of Staff to Governor Otti, who extended a cordial invitation to party members, political stakeholders, supporters and well-wishers to attend the occasion.
The flag-off is intended to formally launch the campaign for Governor Otti’s return to office, while also recognising other Labour Party candidates preparing to contest in the forthcoming elections.
With Umuahia Township Stadium designated as the venue, the event is expected to serve as a gathering point for party supporters and stakeholders from different parts of Abia State.
