Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike (MOUAU), Abia State, has announced the commencement of its 2026/2027 academic session, with fresh students scheduled to resume on Sunday, October 25, 2026, while returning students are expected back on Sunday, November 1, 2026.
The university made this announcement in an official press release issued to inform fresh and returning students, parents, guardians, members of the university community, and the general public about the approved resumption schedule.
According to the notice, the resumption date for new students remains October 25, while returning students are to return to campus on November 1, in line with the university’s previously announced academic calendar.
The institution urged all concerned to take note of the dates and make the necessary preparations for the new academic session.
The university management also advised students, parents, and other stakeholders to disregard any information contradicting the official resumption schedule, stressing the importance of relying on verified communications from the institution.
